All the establishments in the CRf health sector represent nearly 2,000 beds and places spread across 10 regions of the metropolitan territory, with 29 hyper-specialized establishments, in the fields of MCO (Medicine Surgery Obstetrics), SMR (Medical Rehabilitation Care), HAD (Home Hospitalization) and child psychiatry.

The Margency Children’s Hospital, located in Margency, is recruiting an educational monitor (M/F).

This position is to be filled on a permanent contract, full-time and as soon as possible.

An exclusively pediatric establishment, of the ESPIC type, for follow-up care and rehabilitation, with a capacity of 106 beds (300 employees), managed by the French Red Cross, the Margency Children’s Hospital welcomes children from a few months to 17 years old divided into 2 functional Poles:

Functional Onco-Hematology Unit with 31 beds providing chemotherapy treatments administered on site, transfusions, monitoring and treatment of periods of febrile aplasia, rehabilitation of bone tumors, post-allograft bone marrow transplantation and palliative care;
Specialized Pediatric Functional Unit with 75 beds composed of a department for « small » children (0 to 3 years old) with respiratory pathologies with NIV, tracheotomy, ventilation, digestive pathologies, NEDC, long-term parenteral nutrition, etc., a department for « large » children (10 to 18 years old) and a department for « medium » children (3 to 10 years old) of multi-purpose pediatrics with patients with cystic fibrosis, sickle cell disease, diabetes, pre- or post-kidney transplant, infectious diseases, etc.

Position

In conjunction with a multidisciplinary team, your main missions will be to:

Welcome the beneficiary into the structure (first contact, interview, presentation of the team and the role of each person):

Exercise a reference function,
Set up tools, educational materials and collective or individual activities according to the abilities of each beneficiary,of his individual project and in coherence with the establishment project,
Lead daily life,
Participate in learning the rules of collective life.

Support each beneficiary in implementing their individual project:

Assess, in their professional field, the specific needs of the beneficiary,
Help the beneficiary in building their professional and/or individual project,
Provide a reference function,
Carry out an assessment of the activities, progress or difficulties encountered for each beneficiary.

Adapt, in cooperation with multidisciplinary teams, the systems to the needs, capacities and wishes of the beneficiary:

Participate/contribute to the implementation of the individual project during times of exchange/service or team meetings,
Observe, report on educational situations,
Contribute to the evaluation and be responsible for the actions carried out within the framework of the individual project,
Communicate information on their activity and alert on the difficulties encountered.

Get involved in partnership, institutional and inter-institutional dynamics:

Liaise with external educational and medico-social partners and coordinate your action with them.

Maintain, develop and transmit your skills:

– Ensure monitoring in your field of activity and take into account developments (legal, technical, etc.)

– Develop and transmit your professional knowledge,

– Participate in training teams on issues and topics related to your field of activity.

Be able to:

Establish a caring and quality educational exchange and relationship,
Lead daily life and design/lead group activities, according to the beneficiary’s abilities and needs,
Mobilize the beneficiary’s resources and develop abilities,
Support the beneficiary in building their identity and uniqueness while respecting their choices and integrity as much as possible,
Take a step back and manage your emotions while ensuring the quality of your action.

Remuneration established according to the National Collective Agreement of the French Red Cross, according to the diploma(s) and experience with resumption of seniority at 60%

You work 36 hours per week and receive, as such, 6 days of RTT per year
