Do you have a passion for uncovering the stories behind research to make recommendations and present to the C-Suite?Reporting to the Senior Manager, Research and Insights, the new role of Manager, Stakeholder Research and Insights collaborates closely with internal teams, external partners, and leadership to uncover themes and provide actionable recommendations from a wide range of research that supports WorkSafeBC’s mission and strategic goals.You’ll act in a consultancy capacity to internal clients to apply your expertise across a broad range of research methodologies to help shape programs, enhance stakeholder engagement, and improve outreach and marketing communication strategies. - Lead the design, execution, and analysis of complex qualitative and quantitative research initiatives to understand stakeholder perceptions and needs.
- Collate, and synthesize findings across an extensive body of research to join the dots between numerous studies to maximize the relevance and impact of your recommendations to executive leadership.
- Leverage your storytelling and data visualization superpowers to socialize and promote Research and Insights findings and recommendations to your broad client portfolio. We want our clients to come back for more research!
- Manage your team of three, providing coaching and mentorship to motivate and set goals to assist employees in meeting team and corporate objectives.
Is this a good fit for you?We’re looking for someone who can:
- Lead and manage research teams, providing direction on priorities, objectives, and implementation plans.
- Translate substantial amounts of complex data into clear, impactful recommendations that you will share with the executive.
- Apply strategic thinking and critical analysis to enhance stakeholder engagement and organizational decision-making.
- Maintain expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, and industry best practices.
Your background and experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Research, Social Science, Marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of market research experience, including at least 5 years in a progressive management role.
- Strong expertise in survey design, stakeholder research, data analysis, and performance measurement.
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and analytical skills to translate research into actionable business strategies.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Important to knowBefore we can finalize any offer of employment, you must:
