The Medical Imaging Department is a very busy department with an expanding service where admin plays a crucial role. You will be dealing with both members of the public and medical staff on a daily basis. You will be the first port of call for our patients and will be instrumental in creating a positive patient experience. The post holder will be proficient in dealing with confidentiality issues ensuring patient details are recorded accurately. - You will provide a professional, efficient and effective reception and appointment booking service to patients and visitors whilst acting as the public face for the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
- You will undertake general clerical duties to maximise all outpatient capacity. You will ensure all information is secure and that confidentiality of information is maintained at all times.
- You will provide excellent customer care which may include communication with distressed and anxious patients and relatives, treating them with tact and empathy.
- You must have the flexibility to provide cover and support across all modalities of the Medical Imaging Admin team including reception when required.
