- This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent RN clinical experience in an Adult Medical/Surgical acute care unit (within the past two years)
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN
- Previous Experience with surgical oncology patients
- Previous wound care experience
- Previous trach care experience
- RN Experience in an academic medical center
License/Certification
- Active Registered Nurse licensure in the State of California
- Active American Heart Association CPR Certification

Complex wound care, ostomy care and tracheotomy care make patient education a priority for both the patients and their caregivers after discharge. Multiple opportunities exist for nurses to coordinate innovative treatment modalities for the oncology patient population on this unit. Nurses work in an area where a dynamic, interdisciplinary, supportive and healing approach is the focus. This unit provides the opportunity to work in a cutting edge environment were excellent care can be provided in a patient and family focused setting.
