We welcome applicants with a background in Medicine, Anaesthesia, Emergency Medicine or Surgery. The successful candidate will be appointed to a core trainee level rota. Previous critical care experience is desirable but not essential.We provide support & direct admission from our busy Emergency Department (which sees upwards of 130,000 patients annually), and we take complex external referrals. The department runs a 24/7 nurse led outreach service, which is supported by the ICU doctors. The department also runs a fortnightly critical care follow-up clinic.All applicants must Eligible for full registration with the GMC and have MBBS or equivalent. Desirable qualifications for this post include MRCP,MRCS, Primary FRCA or MCEM (or equivalents).Jobs for this role are for start dates from August 2025.
