It starts with YOU.The Senior Manager – Fox Cities Community Relations and Partnerships is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive community relations strategy in the Fox Valley, home to Kimberly-Clark’s (KC) Neenah Innovation and Operational Excellence Centre (IOEC) campus. Reporting directly to the Leader of North America Communications, you will drive our community engagement strategy and serve as the primary architect of our local partnerships. You will serve as a representative and spokesperson for Kimberly Clark and foster strong relationships with stakeholders in the area. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with a strong background in community relations, strategic communications, and stakeholder engagement.In this role, you will:Develop and Implement a High Impact Community Relations Strategy

  • Design and execute transformative community relations initiatives that create measurable impact in the Fox Cities.
  • Lead the development of innovative partnerships that address critical community needs while advancing KC’s corporate social responsibility goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure community initiatives are aligned with wider corporate priorities and resources are effectively allocated.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community programs and initiatives, making adjustments as needed to maximize impact.

Increase Visibility for KC’s Ongoing Contributions

  • Craft proactive communication plans to showcase Kimberly Clark’s community investments and partnerships to both internal and external audiences.
  • Develop an integrated content plan across multiple channels, from traditional media to digital platforms.
  • Coordinate with other members of the North America Communications team to integrate community relations messaging into broader corporate communications strategies.
  • Organize and manage events, tours, and presentations that showcase Kimberly Clark’s community initiatives and engage diverse audiences.

Serve as a Representative and Spokesperson

  • Act as the official representative of Kimberly Clark in the Fox Valley community, attending key events, meetings, and forums.
  • Serve as the primary spokesperson for community relations matters, providing clear and compelling messages to media, community groups, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistent and positive representation of Kimberly Clark’s values, mission, and community efforts across all interactions.
  • Prepare and deliver speeches, presentations, and reports to various audiences, articulating the company’s community relations strategies and achievements.

Develop Strong and Trusted Relationships

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders in the Fox Valley, including NGO leaders, academia, media, and other relevant institutions.
  • Engage with local government officials, business leaders, and community organizations to foster collaborative partnerships and advance mutual goals.
  • Participate in community boards, committees, and advisory groups to stay informed on local issues and contribute to community development initiatives.
  • Facilitate regular communication and feedback loops with stakeholders to understand their needs, concerns, and expectations, and to ensure Kimberly Clark’s community efforts are responsive and impactful.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in community relations, development, corporate communications, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful community relations strategies and programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Deep understanding of the Fox Valley region and its unique community dynamics and needs.
  • Ability to think strategically, creatively, and proactively to identify and capitalize on opportunities for community engagement and impact.
  • Demonstrated experience as a spokesperson or representative, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Commitment to corporate social responsibility and a passion for making a positive impact in the community.
