SUMMARYThis position is located in the Foundation for the Global Compact in New York, USA. The Head of PRME leads the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) initiative, working in close collaboration with the UN Global Compact’s Chief of Staff and reporting to the Managing Director of the Foundation for the Global Compact.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPRME Leadership & Governance
- Develop and evaluate the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) strategy in collaboration with the PRME Advisory Board and the Higher Education participant ecosystem.
- Regularly meet UN Global Compact leadership to develop a common understanding of the wider setting within which PRME operates, ensuring alignment with the broader strategy of the UN Global Compact.
- Work closely with the PRME Advisory Board Chairperson in the curation and execution of PRME Advisory Board Meetings.
- Lead the strategic delivery and implementation of the agreed upon PRME work plan and priorities through engagement with the PRME academic stakeholders, UNGC Country Networks etc.
- Assess and prioritize requests for participation at conferences and advise on best possible options of representatives to secure ongoing visibility to key stakeholders of PRME and its
PRME Secretariat
- Provide strategic and technical guidance of the PRME Secretariat, inspiring and guiding the team in the execution of projects to advance the initiative.
- Convene and chair meetings of the PRME Secretariat for project coordination and issue management.
- Ensure prudent and efficient financial management of PRME.
PRME Planning & Project Execution
- Ensure the PRME strategy is aligned with and makes an important contribution to the overall strategic direction of the UN Global Compact initiative.
- Develop annual plans, ensuring ambitious but realistic KPIs are set given available human and financial resources.
- Develop and execute a fundraising strategy for PRME.
- Execute on existing partnerships and implementation of grants while overseeing donor relations.
- Oversee the planning and execution of the annual PRME Global Forum and any other regional forums.
- Establish and nurture strategic partnerships to maximize impact.
- Serve as a single point of contact for the UN Global Compact to ensure collaboration across the UN Global Compact initiative.
- Performs other duties as required.

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in business administration, management, economics or a related field. A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
- A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in project or program management in a multi-stakeholder environment with contacts to academia and business is required.
- Solid experience and understanding of corporate citizenship, especially as it relates to UN-business collaboration is required.
- Proficiency in English is essential (full command on both spoken and written). Knowledge of other UN official languages would be desirable.

- $128,000 – $145,000
- Retirement Plan – 15% employer contribution after 12 months of services with additional 7.5% matching option.
