Reporting to the Senior Director, Business Management, Finance, and Client Enablement, this role will focus on supporting leaders and stakeholders across RBCx and RBC on a variety of initiatives. This role is for a strategic thinker who can balance high-level planning with hands-on execution to drive impactful initiativesWhat will you do?Lead recurring and ad hoc reporting to RBC’s Senior Executives (e.g. QBR, executive reviews): deliver high-quality, timely reports with a focus on quality, accuracy, and a clear narrativeProvide strategic insights and readily available financial reports to key stakeholders.Oversee Project Approval Requests (“PAR”) processes for all Portfolio Companies; collaborate to create strong business cases, align stakeholders, monitor draw down of approved capital, and support annual injection reviews/requests as needed.Provide legal entity maintenance, oversight and control in conjunction with partners in finance, tax, and legalImprove operations and process in order to build scalable functionsProvide centralized support to supply ad hoc program and project capacityAs needed:Manage timing across multiple acquisition deals to ensure operational readiness across stakeholder groups.Enable integration and ensure the value of the acquired business is preserved by removing barriers and hurdles to operating while balancing the needs of various RBC stakeholdersOversee wind-downsWhat will you need?Must Haves5+ years experience working in business operations, strategy, finance, strategic planning or other operational functionsExcellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, strong financial modeling skills, and impeccable attention to detail.Experience developing business casesExceptional written and verbal communication skills, experience delivering high-quality executive reportingAbility to self-direct and self-manage to deadlinesComfort leading without authority and working with senior leaders to deliver on responsibilitiesNice to HavesCFA, CPA, or MBA or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.Experience working in consulting, a high-growth B2B/B2C SaaS environment, or a large financial institutionUndergraduate degree in business, commerce, or related fieldsWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
