Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Livingston, Scotland.Our BusinessH&J Martin Limited are a Fit Out and Asset Management company operating throughout the UK and Ireland. As part of the Lagan Specialist Contracting Group our mission is to provide Construction, Fit Out and Asset Management solutions in an environment where people feel safe, secure and valued.Role OverviewThe candidate will become part of our Delivery Team undertaking various planned maintenance and reactive/repair tasks to our many high-profile client properties throughout Scotland.What you’ll doThe following reflect the main tasks associated with your position and are not intended to be exclusive or exhaustive

• Routine inspections and testing of electrical systems such as wiring, fixtures and fittings.
• Preventative planned maintenance (PPM’s).
• Respond to fault call requests.
• Diagnose faults and identify solutions.
• Carry out repair and replacement work.
• General multiskilled duties.
• Keep accurate records.
• Test and certify electrical works.
• Always work safely and to current best working practice and standards.
• On call / Overtime.

What you’ll bringAs a Maintenance Technician (Electrical) your main skills and experience will include:Essential Criteria

• Electrical qualifications – demonstratable successful completion of electrical apprenticeship (City & Guilds or NVQ type)
• Demonstratable experience as an Electrician
• Full driving license
• Obtain relevant security clearances.
• Knowledge and experience in other disciplines.

Desirable Criteria

• Level 3 Testing & Inspection
• Competence working on commercial and industrial electrical systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.
• CSR card
• IPAF 3a 3b
• 18th Edition BS7671
