RGB are recruiting on behalf of a Civil Engineering Main Contractor in their search to find the very best talent within the Southwest. On offer is the opportunity to join a large Highways Scheme in Devon on a permanent basis.We’re looking to recruit a Senior Engineer that has a full understanding of the technical requirements and techniques of setting out as well as being able to lead, mentor and coach an existing team.About the Role – As the experienced Senior Engineer, you will have the following duties:

– Play a pivotal role within the Project Management -[
– Take control of the Project site -[
– Coach an existing team of Setting out and Section Engineers -[
– Check technical drawings, specifications and reporting any issues to the engineering team. -[
– Ensuring that information is available on drawings in accordance with the programme. -[
– Report any inconsistencies in the information provided to the Project Manager -[
– Undertake Quantity take off for materials from drawings. -[
– Maintain a Daily site diary and carry out daily Health and Safety Inspections -[
– Raises any technical queries and liaise with designer to resolve -[
– Ensure that all (ITP’s) are in place for all activities -[
– Produces/Reviews Method Statements and Risk Assessments & ensure that Safe Systems of Work are adhered to
For this role its essential that you have a minimum of a HND and ideally Degree level qualification in Civil Engineering. As this role will be working on a live construction site you will also have a minimum of 5 years site experience as well as having a SSSTS / CSCS, SMSTS & First Aid certs.This company have a great reputation for training and developing their staff alongside offering a competitive salary and generous benefits package.To apply, or for more information please contact Laura at RGB – [email protected]
