We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Repairs Surveyor to join our Complex Works team on a 4-month fixed term contract. In this role, you’ll provide line management for the Repairs Surveyors while also managing your own Repairs Surveyor workload.You’ll be responsible for overseeing the quality and effectiveness of responsive maintenance, ensuring Platform meets customer expectations, statutory and regulatory obligations, and maximises planned investment where possible. You will also use your expertise to offer technical advice on complex repair issues and escalations, driving excellence in all aspects of the role.Now is an exciting time to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of delivering a Customer-First housing experience for a better futureSome essential things we are looking for:
- Significant experience in housing and/or construction industry
- Experience of social housing and positive engagement with customers to resolve difficult issues
- Knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework relevant to programmes of works and maintenance
- Line management experience would be beneficial, or alternatively, equivalent supervisory or project management experience with the ability to manage projects.
While this role is home based, you should have the ability to travel to Group offices and other locations as required. Our Group offices are located at Birmingham Business Park and Central Park, Worcester.Some of the great benefits we can offer you:
