Who we are looking forA Junior Software Developer, who will be motivated and enthusiastic with a passion for technology to join our experienced Verification team.Within the Verification team, you will be developing, enhancing and supporting our Business critical Verification platform. From the delivery of real time facial recognition systems utilising innovative AI technology, to core operational tooling.Verification operates as a full stack team who are in the process of undertaking a ground up re-architecture into Golang, React and Cloud platforms. Core skills within the team are Kafka, SQL, .Net, Golang and Typescript.During your journey as a Junior Software Developer, you will learn and apply best practices for version control, coding, distributed system architecture and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes. You will be developing cutting-edge Verification systems that are of the highest quality standards, in a fast-paced hard-working environment.This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.Preferred skills and experienceExposure to front, or back-end development languages such as React, JavaScript, GO, C#, or Python. Experience with similar languages are advantageous.Ability to problem solve.Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change.Good communication.Ability to work in a team.Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline, or relevant professional experience.
