As a member of their team, you can expect the latest technology, a collaborative environment and a friendly atmosphere.The Healthcare Human Resources HR Benefits Specialist will be responsible for evaluating, managing, administering, and communicating the Hospital’s benefit programs including health and welfare, time-off, leave management, and retirement plans.The Healthcare HR Benefits Program Specialist will ensure that benefits programs, policies and practices enhance the Hospital’s ability to attract, retain, motivate and engage employees and are compliant with regulations, union agreements, plan documents, and policies.The Healthcare HR Benefits Program Specialist will oversee day-to-day operations of assigned benefit programs which may include health and welfare programs, voluntary benefits and discount programs, transportation and FSA accounts, retirement plans, time off, and disability/leave Management program.The Healthcare Human Resources Benefits Specialist will have responsibilities that include vendor management, oversight of benefits administration systems and procedures, communications, compliance, enrollment, reporting and analysis.The ideal candidate for the Healthcare Benefits Program Specialist Human Resources should have a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Social Sciences with at least three years benefits analysis experience. HR Certification preferred (i.e., SPHR, PHR, CBP, CEBS) with thorough knowledge of employment and benefits laws and regulations and their application – ERISA, HIPPA, COBRA, IRS Section 125, SDI/PFL, ADA, FMLA, CFRA, PPA, IRS 403(b), and other employment laws relating to disability.The organization offers a serene campus environment, bordered by a park and located near restaurants, shopping and other conveniences.
