Salary: £40,000 – £50,000/£55,000 per annum (subject to skills and experience)Benefits:29 days holiday including public holidays£2,000 incentive paid after 6 months of serviceAnnual pay review based on performanceSubstantial overtime and night shift allowances (optional), paid at normal rateDay Shift: Monday to Thursday – 07:00 – 17:00, Friday – 07:00 – 15:00 (45.5-hour weeks)Night Shift: Monday to Friday – 18:00 – 03:00 (47.5-hour weeks)About the Role: Our client is seeking skilled Coach Builders / Commercial Vehicle Bodybuilders to join their team. You will be working on specialized vehicle builds for a variety of high-profile clients. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and play a key role in the creation of customized commercial vehicles.Key Responsibilities:Interpret and follow schematics for vehicle repairs and conversionsSafely and efficiently use hand tools for vehicle modificationsWork with a variety of materials, including steel, aluminium, and wood, in the build processRemove and reinstall interior and exterior panels, trims, and frameworksCarry out mechanical fitting and general metalworking tasksSkills and Qualifications:Prior experience with commercial vehicle bodies is advantageousPrevious experience in coachbuilding is a plusA background in metalworking or light mechanical fitting is preferredExperience in a vehicle or engineering environment would be beneficialIf you’re looking to join a well-established team and have a passion for working with commercial vehicles, we’d love to hear from you!If you would like to know more about this position, then please forward your CV to hollyn@alectorecruitment.com.
