In this role the Senior Manager, Digital Merchandising will be accountable for developing merchandising strategies to improve conversion, engagement, and customer experience on the site to support the overall growth of the Shoppers Drug Mart eCommerce business. This role will be responsible for site planning, execution, analysis, and reporting while contributing to strategic planning and initiatives. This position will report to the Director, Digital Marketing and Merchandising.What you’ll do:Digital Merchandising & Product ContentLead and manage the strategic planning and day to day execution of site & app content and digital merchandising, including product enrichment, navigation, search, marketing & promotional campaignsDrive optimizations and test & learns for the site experience to improve the customer engagement and conversionLead digital activations for new brand launches, marketing & promotional campaigns, and new technical product featuresDrive creative briefing process to achieve campaign and program goalsLead the management of content, site audit processes, ensuring accuracy and quality of site contentCollaborate with Ecomm Marketing team on CRM campaignsCollaborate with SEO and technical teams to drive strong SEO rankingsManage relationships and contracts of partnering technical vendors of merch toolsCollaborationPartner closely with Design, Product & Tech teams to enhance merch tools and website functionality and help prioritize technical roadmapsLiaise with several internal partners to bring campaigns and new programs to life including – Loblaw Digital, Media & Loyalty teams, SDM Category Management, Brand & Creative teamsReporting & AnalyticsMonitor and analyze key performance metrics (KPIs). Use insights to refine customer journeys, landing pages, test new strategies, and identify growth opportunities.Provide regular reports and actionable insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.Team LeadershipLead and mentor a high performing team of Digital Merchandisers, providing guidance, feedback, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.Does this sound like you?:Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce6+ years experience in Ecommerce, Digital MerchandisingExcellent leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on collaboration and mentoringStrong strategic thinking and analytical skills to problem solve and drive initiatives to grow the businessResults focused, organized and proactive, and ability to deal with ambiguity and balance multiple prioritiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to motivate and collaborate with a cross-functional team towards a common goalExperience in working with Digital merchandising tools, understanding data flow is an assetPrevious experience in category management, retail, merchandise planning, and working within digital organizations is an assetPassionate about retail and connecting customers with their favorite brands and products.Passion for staying up to date on industry trends and emerging technologiesHow You’ll Succeed:At Loblaw Digital, we seek great people to continually strengthen our culture.
