Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?As the strategic co-pilot to Transformation & Enterprise Operations (TEO) Operations Process Engineering, TEO Transformation Office, and Symcor Services pillars, the incumbent will proactively manage the finance advisory and support activities in driving value to the organization. Become an integral part of TEO’s respective senior management teams and assist them in managing their financial goals, meeting plan and efficiency management targets, and implementing business strategies and initiatives.What you will do?
- Responsible for the end-to-end financial oversight of TEO Operations Process Engineering, TEO Transformation Office, and Symcor Services pillars through: financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, monthly monitoring, reporting and variance analysis, opportunity spotting and validation of cost/efficiency management initiatives, new business case analysis (PARs), and the tracking of approved business case spend and initiatives (project tracking).
- Responsible for ensuring the active financial management activities supporting the pillars are aligned and contribute to the financial management of TEO and T&O holistically through a one RBC approach. Drive active communication and collaboration with other finance leads in ensuring the successful execution of this holistic approach. Collaborate with the Performance Management (PM) teams in ensuring all deliverables are met and TEO commentary is insightful and articulated clearly.
- Responsible for regular interaction with TEO Senior Management Team members, ensure budget transparency, and assist in optimizing spends.
- Responsible for identifying and understanding the cost drivers of the pillars including but not limited to the volume growth comparison to cost growth and establishing metrics surrounding such drivers to track business performance
- Proactively look for ways to automate, standardize and remove any redundancies in financial processes within Finance and TEO
- Other duties as assigned in a constantly evolving role which requires pivoting and realignment
What you need to succeed?Must Have
- 7+ years relevant work experience
- CPA, CFA or MBA designation
- Highly developed interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and building relationships at all levels
- Strong business acumen, problem solving and analytical mindset
- Strong ability to deal with ambiguity, multiple data sources, and translating data/analysis into key messages and insights
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of RBC systems: EPM, Microsoft Power BI, Apptio, SAP, FiBRS, and Beeline
