About the Opportunity
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile bank/intercompany accounts
- Process and verify invoices (manual/electronic)
- Manage Demurrage, Freight, Duty invoices and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain vendor records and handle payments
- Create POs and train staff on PO workflow
- Post rebate invoices and manage vendor accounts
- Liaise with vendors/customers and support AP team
- Prepare AP Aging, DIO/DPO, and consolidated purchase reports
- Assist with month-end close and ad hoc projects
About You
- Minimum 2 years of full-cycle accounts payable experience and a strong understanding of full-cycle accounting
- Skilled in bank reconciliations and handling multiple currencies
- Experience working in a global, multi-entity environment
- Proficient with large ERP systems is required, SAP or Dynamics Navisions is nice-to-have
- Experience with Dynamics Navision or SAP is a strong asset
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, large data sets)
- Experience in the manufacturing industry would be a strong asset
- Familiarity with intercompany charges, transactions, and reconciliations
