1:1 SEN Teaching AssistantWe are looking for a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. If you have experience supporting children with special educational needs and are passionate about providing personalised support, we want to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to a student with special educational needs on a one-to-one basis.
- Assist with academic tasks and help the student engage with the curriculum.
- Support the student’s social and emotional development in the classroom.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement strategies that support the student’s learning needs.
- Track the student’s progress and provide feedback to the class teacher and parents.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure the student feels supported and encouraged.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN (e.g., Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties).
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to working with students.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A commitment to helping children achieve their potential and become more independent learners.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in SEN or Teaching Assistant).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
