An opportunity has arisen to recruit to this Occupational Health Advisor Band 6 position within a busy Occupational Health and Safety Service that provides services to NHS D&G Primary and Secondary care, our working partners, and a wide range of external businesses.
The post holder will join a successful and experienced Occupational Health and Safety team, and this role offers the potential for further career development in this specialised nursing field.
The team currently includes ten registered nurses and one technician of various banding, an Occupational Therapist and an Occupational Health Psychological therapist, five Health & Safety Specialists, and an administration team. Each team member is crucial to providing a safe, effective, and quality Occupational Health Service daily.
Training and development will be tailored to the individual needs of the successful candidate and in conjunction with the needs of the service.
This role involves frequently driving and travelling to various clinics throughout the region and beyond, supporting both NHS and external organisations. You must be able to work autonomously, travel independently and be flexible to the needs of the service and team.
The work hours are typically 0830 to 1630 Monday through Friday but depend on service demand and needs; early starting and late finishing, and occasional overnight stays are required
