Description:Are you a registered Allied Health Professional, educated to degree level with a Masters degree or study at Masters level with a leadership qualification or demonstrable formal study of leadership principles and practice?As Director of Allied Health Professions within the Nursing, Midwifery and AHP Directorate you would be responsible for providing strategic direction and professional leadership, ensuring AHP contribution to the formulation and delivery of NHS Dumfries and Galloway corporate objectives.You would provide expertise and advice to the Nurse Director, NHS Dumfries and Galloway Board, Health and Social Care Senior Leadership Team and the Board Management Team in relation to AHP issues; lead and be accountable for the strategic development for AHP services within NHS Dumfries and Galloway in line with corporate objectives, Local Delivery Plans and national policy. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours.
