As a DJSC 3rd Line (L4) Network Engineer you will contribute to this by joining a multi-skilled, multi-disciplinary team working collaboratively across multiple services within a shared Environment.Your role will involve:Your role will involve providing L4 support to the project embedded support personnel. You will collaborate with the rest of the team to maintain on premise networks to support BAU activities, maintain the test environment and provide support to other teams.Your transferable skills and experience:

  • In depth understanding and working knowledge of core routing protocols and switching at CCNA level (minimum)
  • Hands-on experiencing in troubleshooting enterprise networks
  • Solid understanding of IP routing (BGP, OSPF, static routing, HSRP, VRF, tunneling protocols)
  • Solid understanding of Layer 2 technologies (VLANs, port-security, 802.1X, spanning-tree)
  • Experience with firewalls – Cisco Firepower, Cisco ASA and related features (ASDM, ACLs, IPSEC VPNs)
  • Experience working with Cisco Catalyst switches, Cisco Nexus switches, Cisco ISR and ASR routers
  • Understanding of virtualised routers and firewalls
  • Understanding of network-level encryption
  • Understanding of CISCO CUBE and other voice/video solutions
  • Experience with Mini-Catapan Encryption device
