This position supports 609th AOC at Shaw AFB, SC.The Unit Program Management Analyst acts as the 609th AOC’s primary point of contact (POC) for all administrative support programs, including task management, fitness program, safety program, Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) accounts, security program, supply program, and personnel action programs. the 9 AF AFCENT Commander and their staff in their daily interactions with senior military and civilian personnel of foreign partners in the command’s assigned area of responsibility, U.S. Central Command.In this role you will:
- Serve as the SME for all mandated administrative support programs. Ensure unit program compliance with regulations, laws, policies, and squadron commander directives.
- Assist the staff in the management of all administrative support program functions.
- Design effective communication plans to publicize unit program requirements, associated policies, and procedures.
- Establish controls and suspense dates and follow-ups to ensure that required actions and responses are made within deadlines.
- Process staff taskers, both internal and externally generated, will include building the tasker, establishing the lead, and coordinating offices, coordinating the staff processes and responses, and managing the timelines to ensure all suspense’s are met.
- Assists commander/staff in accomplishing all necessary internal operations to include administrative training, security, development and implementation of organizational operating instructions and regulations of personnel related programs.
- Serve as POC for all newly assigned 609th AOC personnel; orienting them regarding the basic functions of the organization, introduce them to key personnel and schedule their initial training/orientation requirements.
- Disseminate information concerning new or changed procedures/regulations.
- Assist with determining and meeting administrative needs based on administrative support program requirements.
- Assist staff with setting suspense’s and/or prioritizing work for all AOC staff personnel to support the commander.
- Attend required training, meetings, and functions as related to the prescribed unit programs.
- Assist the director in the performance of administrative functions associated with the supervision of military and civilian employees (i.e., coordinating personnel assignments, promotions, and performance evaluation products, etc.). Assists with providing evaluations and validation of manpower requirements and participant qualifications for operational/contingency planning and exercises.
- Monitor personnel action requests, tracks personnel, manpower, and training transactions as documentation flows through the directorate and provides status reports to management.
- Assist project officer in making arrangements for command sponsored events ensuring proper protocol is followed.
QualificationsTo be successful in this role you will have:
- An active DoD Secret security clearance.
- HS Diploma/GED
- Two years’ experience overseeing unit programs, including task management program, fitness program, safety program, ADPE accounts, security program, supply program, civilian timecard program, and personnel action programs.
- Two years’ experience as a Unit Program Manager at an Air Force group, wing, NAF, or higher.
- Two years’ experience with Manning Document applications.
- Three years’ experience working with Microsoft Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
- The ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
