A brief IntroductionVibright are excited to be partnering with an ambitious hybrid tech distributor at a pivotal moment of growth. Based in Hungerford, working with clients across the UK, the business is excited to have opening to join their growing, high performing team sales team. The purpose of this role is to build and maintain relationships with customers and vendors to leverage growth opportunities and drive performance of the business, playing your part in the ambitious growth plans.Want to hear more?You will be joining the already established Team, reporting to the head of ‘inside sales’. It’s a supportive environment, with a keen emphasis on working together, with peer to peer learning and coaching playing a key part in not only your induction, but throughout your role. This role will suit someone who is hungry to learn and has a desire to build something!What will you be doing?Your primary role will be to maintain and maximise the lucrative accounts that you will be inheriting. Here is a snapshot of what you will be responsible for:
- You will build & maintain exceptional relationships with key stakeholders within the existing customer base.
- Maintain regular contact to introduce new manufacturers, products, services, and technologies to achieve sales growth.
- Enable further growth by encouraging new customers to open an account with the business
- Use your growing knowledge & skill set to Identify accounts with significant opportunity
- Utilise a variety of tools to maximise relationships, including teams of face to face meetings
- Show your love of data, using market intelligence & historical data to plan and target your accounts effectively.
- Managing pipeline and forecasting
- Collaborate with vendors and product specialists, encouraging synergy with Commercial, Customer Service and Credit Control
- Complete administrative tasks such as responding to emails, processing orders and managing pricing.
- Proactively develop industry knowledge, tracking new trends and products in the market by attending sales training, vendor training, researching and self-study.
- Embrace learning opportunities & coaching sessions
What we need from you….A bit about you….Ideally the successful candidate will have the following attributes, skills, experience, and qualifications:
- You thrive in a fast, multi tasking environment!
- You will have proven experience in Account Management or a similar role
- You are a natural relationship builder, you understand people and can develop strong relationships across a variety of stakeholders.
- You love working under pressure, this is when you deliver your best work!
- It goes without saying…. But we will say it anyway – you have an eye for attention to detail and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in the IT or Memory Channel is desirable but not essential
- Must be able to reliably commute to Hungerford
- You are authentic and humble in your approach; with a hunger to learn!
