Job description
Axon Moore are exclusively partnering with an international, well-established manufacturing business in Chorley. This client has a brilliant reputation on the market and they are looking to recruit an Accountant from a manufacturing background to join them due to growth of the business.
Reporting to the European Head of Accounting, this role will involve the production of management/financial statements as well as the financial reporting for a number of legal entities. You will also be required to analyse all financial data and upcoming projects to support decision-making efforts and drive efficiencies for the business.
Duties:
- Completion of Management/Financial Accounting for all assigned legal entities to group.
- Prepare or oversee all balance sheets
- Report on gross margins and periodic variances.
- Produce budget/forecasts and analysis around materials and inventory.
- Analyse and review monthly spending trends with Operations management team.
- Deliver a comprehensive and professional service to all stakeholders.
Requirements:
- ACCA/CIMA qualified Accountant/Finalist/QBE
- Experience in working within a Manufacturing business is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication skills to be able to effectively partner with other areas of the business
- Excellent analytical skills
- Hardworking attitude and proactive approach to improve processes
- Advanced Excel skills
