We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Entry Level Accountant in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. This role involves working with nonprofit organizations, providing essential accounting services.Responsibilities:-Assisting with the preparation of budgets and accounting functions.-Conducting account analysis and reconciliation.-Implementing and maintaining accounting software systems such as Dynamics NAV and ERP Solutions.-Processing accounts receivable and preparing bank deposits.-Utilizing Adobe Acrobat for document management and communication.-Conducting account coding to ensure proper allocation of expenses.-Utilizing accounting tools for efficient and accurate entries.-Assisting with year-end reconciliations using Great Plains.-Monitoring and maintaining accurate customer credit records.-Resolving customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.-Candidate must possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the accounting field.-Proficiency in account coding is a requirement for this role.-Working knowledge of various accounting software systems is necessary.-Experience with Adobe Acrobat is expected.-Proficiency in Dynamics NAV will be considered an advantage.-Familiarity with different ERP solutions is required.-Demonstrated ability in account analysis and accounting entries.-Ability to handle diverse accounting functions effectively.-Experience in account reconciliation is essential.-Candidates should be proficient in managing accounts payable (AP).Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
