We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Entry Level Accountant in Ottawa, Ontario. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team, providing full cycle bookkeeping services and playing a crucial role in maintaining and analyzing the financial transactions of our company.Responsibilities:

• Monitor, manage, and conduct full cycle accounts payable activities
• Ensure accurate and timely entries of daily sales data
• Handle account coding and reconcile accounts on a regular basis
• Utilize advanced Excel and Dynamix 365 for various accounting functions
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow effectively
• Prepare and maintain accounting entries and journal entries
• Follow up with vendors as necessary to resolve discrepancies
• Utilize Adobe Acrobat and ERP solutions for document control and process improvement
• Analyze account details to identify discrepancies and suggest corrective action
• Assist in the preparation of trial balances and ensure accuracy of financial data.

• Position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the accounting field.

• Proficiency in account coding is a necessity for this role.

• Candidates must have experience working with accounting software systems.

• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat is a requirement.

• Experience with Dynamics NAV is necessary for this role.

• Applicants must have experience with ERP Solutions.

• Ability to perform account analysis is a key requirement.

• Candidates should be well-versed in accounting entries and functions.

• Experience with account reconciliation is a necessity for this role.

• Applicants must have experience handling Accounts Payable (AP).
