A dynamic RSK Group business is recruiting for an in-house Accountant to join the team on a part-time basis (25 hours per week). The role is offered on a hybrid working model switching between home and the office in Birmingham. The working pattern is flexible and to be discussed at interview.You will support the organisations Senior Leadership Team to make informed decisions based on accurate financial data. As a rapidly growing team, there is potential for this role to grow as the business continues to evolve.Responsibilities
- Preparation of management accounts
- Work alongside senior management to monitor performance and costs
- Preparation of month-end and year-end accounts
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Accurate inputting of supplier & consultant invoices
- Full sales ledger processing for complex consultancy services
- Credit Control
Person Specification
- Must have strong experience with Xero accounting package
- Proven Accounts/Month/Year end experience
- Strong knowledge MS Excel
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
Salary And Benefits
- Pro-rata salary £23,300 – £26,650 which equates to £35,000 – £40,000 full time equivalent
