Accountant – Permanent – 17795About the OpportunityOur client in the Ottawa east area is looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Accountant to join their growing organization on a full-time, permanent basis.This organization is within a growing sector and offers opportunity for professional growth and development, all within a dynamic, positive work culture.Duties include but are not limited to:
- High volume full-cycle processing of Accounts Payables and Receivables
- Account and credit card reconciliations
- Processing payments, preparing bank deposits
- Processing and recording of expenses
- Processing full-cycle Payroll including deductions and remittances
- Posting of journal entries
- Working closely with the General Ledger, adjustments as needed
- Assist in the production of Financial Statements
- Preparing reporting as needed
- Assisting with Month End closing
- Provide administrative support as required
About YouThe successful candidate will have the following:
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration (or equivalent)
- 5+ years of experience in full-cycle Accounting
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (English essential)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, self-starter, collaborative
