Job Description:The Accounting Administrator is responsible for the daily administration of the company’s accounting department for the Morgan Group of Companies. This position is responsible for assisting the Accountant in their daily tasks and responsibilities.Responsibilities:

  • Prepare daily and monthly bank reconciliations, complete with following up on outstanding items.
  • Create and post monthly journal entries.
  • Process intercompany billings.
  • Responsible for processing and managing intercompany reconciliations.
  • Complete various analysis and reconciliations
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal/external customers and vendors.
  • Various accounts payable functions, including but not limited to statement reconciliation, coding, and data entry of invoices.
  • Assemble financial data for reporting purposes.
  • Prepare GST returns.
  • Assist with year-end review.
  • Ad hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements:Requirements:

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in general accounting
  • High School Diploma with an Accounting Certificate and/or Diploma.
  • Related experience preferably in a construction or oilfield environment.
  • Intermediate level of Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • Proven organizational abilities.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
