- Keep books , maintaining accounts for two companies. We’re growing fast and that means you need to be on top of your game to: verify, reconcile, allocate, and post day-to-day transactions.
- Oversee books and accounts in US and Canada
- Perform accounting entries and reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly-end close for audit, including prepaid and accrued expenses, accrued and deferred revenue, FA, InterCompany TP, AP, AR, and everything else that is needed for the books to be ready for audit.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end close for audit and tax returns.
- Responsible for bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Prepare and file monthly reports and payments to local authorities (VAT, Labor & corporate tax).
Hybrid:
YesBasic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience including, accounts payable, accounting journal entries, accounts receivable, general ledger, inter-company accounts and reconciliations and multi-currency.
- Experience using accounting systems and platforms
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong organization skills, speed, accuracy, excellent customer service, and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Ability to analyze information and suggest solutions
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in a hi-tech or start-up environment
- Experience in transactional-based companies
