Accounting Clerk – RightRide Division
Winnipeg, ManitobaRightRide is a division of AutoCanada and was established to help Canadians, who may not be approved for vehicle financing through banks and other traditional lenders, find reliable vehicle financing.We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to cover a maternity leave. Reporting to the RightRide Controller, this position will support posting deals, inventory management, journal entries, generating payments, flooring setups and payouts, schedule maintenance, various remittances and reconciliations. Your day-to-day:

  • Entering inventory, inventory flooring, and related payouts
  • Preparing EFT’s or cheques for vehicle purchases
  • Posting deals to CDK
  • Review, reconcile, and maintain various accounting and finance schedules
  • Monthly Unifi remittances
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Verify and reconcile vehicle grosses and commissions
  • Support for various month end procedures
  • Review, confirmation, and audit of submitted deal packages
  • Filing, electronic filing, scanning, and tracking of documents
  • Creating, editing, and formatting various documents and correspondence
  • Completing other administrative tasks as assigned by the leadership team

What you need:

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in an accounting clerk position, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Experience with CDK considered an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Ability to use good judgement and discretion in carrying out responsibilities and resolving day-to-day matters
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
  • Results focused and detail orientated
  • Demonstrate strong work ethic and commitment to safety
  • Creative problem solver who works in a professional and ethical manner
