Job description

We are looking for a meticulous and organized Accounting / Data Entry Clerk to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong clerical skills and a foundational understanding of accounting practices who is eager to contribute to our financial operations.Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data entry for financial transactions and maintain accurate records in accounting systems.
• Assist with processing accounts payable and receivable, including invoice management and payment processing.
• Reconcile bank statements and internal accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and documentation for audits.
• Assist in maintaining and organizing financial records and files.
• Provide general administrative support to the accounting department as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in an accounting or clerical role is an asset.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
