- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- CPA designation
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar or equivalent accounting position (Chief Accountant, Assistant Controller)
- Experience in personnel management
- Proficiency in Excel, SAP is an asset
- Bilingualism in French and English
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Activities
- Supervise and train the accounts payable staff (1 person).
- Ensure the accuracy of monthly financial statements within deadlines.
- Perform the closing of periods and the fiscal year.
- Prepare and adjust end-of-month accounting entries.
- Review accounting books and prepare monthly reports.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and propose solutions to discrepancies.
- Record fixed assets and manage depreciation.
- Coordinate annual audits and tax verifications.
- Monitor internal controls and act as an SAP expert.
- Manage treasury and complete bank reconciliations.
