• Accurately process and verify payments received, reconcile bank deposits and verify deposit totals.
• Record and post exception payments in the accounting system.
• Reconcile basic accounts and resolve outstanding amounts.
• Review and resolve daily cash reports, process cheque requisitions.
• Amend payment schedules, and process premium refunds for accounts.
• Work with tight deadlines
• Handle unresolved issues regarding payments, disbursements, billing arrangements, payment methods and account discrepancies.

What you bring to the table:

• College Diploma in accounting (asset) or any combination of equivalent education and experience
• At least 1 year experience in a similar role (asset)
• Can consistently perform at a superior level with respect to both the accuracy and volume of work completed
• Effective communications skills with an emphasis on customer service
• Strong computer skills or training with standard office applications including strong data entry skill
