What You’ll Be Doing as the Accounting Specialist

• Manage daily cash balancing and account reconciliations across multiple offices.
• Complete payroll processing and administer employee health benefits.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and quarterly reports for the bank.
• Oversee invoicing, accounts payable, and receivable functions using Applied Systems EPIC.
• Conduct month-end journal entries and assist with ad-hoc financial analysis.
• Respond to financial inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Order and monitor office supplies, ensuring efficient business operations.

About You as the Accounting Specialist

• Post-secondary education in Accounting (degree, diploma, certificate).
• 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience.
• Proficient with ERP systems.
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel for detailed reporting and error checking.
• Familiar with PST and GST filing requirements.
