Location Centric Health, Floor 7, RSA House, Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin16
Terms Permanent – 40 hours per week – Monday – Friday: 09:00am – 18:00pm
Maternity Leave Contract (12 months)
The Centric Health group is a fast-growing organisation in the developing primary healthcare sector in Ireland, the Netherlands and abroad. We deliver GP services in Ireland through partnerships with GP practices throughout the country.
The finance team covers the areas of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, bank & cash transactions, professional services withholding tax (PSWT), partnership accounting & tax, month end accounting and reporting. The team produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts to strict deadlines and the production of audited consolidated financial statements.
The successful candidates will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Onboarding:
Ø Supporting group accounting and finance business partners with the onboarding of new GP practices / divisions onto the month-end accounting platform
Ø Transferring of practice suppliers into Centric systems and all related banking to new centric banking structure.
Ø Ensure timely changeover of financial registrations for new practice (e.g. HSE, Social Welfare, Direct Debits, Tax etc.)
Ø Obtaining bank statements and other relevant documentation form new practices to facilitate a financial reconciliation process.
Ø Working with new Practice Managers and Finance colleagues to deliver a smooth and professional onboarding process for selling doctors
Ø Training and support of new practice manager/admin staff on Centric systems and financial procedures.
Ø Tracking and reporting of onboarding progress and maintenance of relevant files and documents
Ø Assisting with the preparation and reporting of company KPI’s
Finance Projects:
Ø Project work as assigned in the finance team to support the design and implementation of new systems and improved processes.
Ø Project work as assigned in the finance team to effectively manage new/changed business requirements, for example moving bank provider, new revenue streams, new internal/external reporting requirements.
Ø Assist with preparation for year-end audit
Ø Ensuring compliance with internal control processes and finance best practice
Ø Other ad hoc accounting tasks as and when they arise
Ø All Centric staff have a responsibility to work with the company risk management strategy and its requirements
Ø All Centric staff, but particularly those with direct patient contact, have a responsibility for the prevention of infection
Position Requirements:
Ø 4+ years administration experience in a finance function
Ø Demonstrated project management experience.
Ø Accounts Package – Microsoft NAV desirable
Ø Strong skills in Excel
Ø Strong attention to detail and a solution focused approach
Ø Strong time management skills with an ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
Ø Excellent interpersonal skills and team player as the person will deal internally with new practices & different colleagues for each business unit, with business managers and external customer and suppliers.
Ø Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Ø Ability to identify areas for improvement and implement change.
Ø Confident committed individual who works well under pressure and enjoys a busy and diverse role
Ø Flexible attitude to changing work practices.
