This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Accounts Assistant Manager to join a professional services team in London. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a sound understanding of statutory reporting accounting principles.

This role will focused on the reviewing (not producing) aspect of statutory accounting.

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. You will be allocating accounting work to a team and reviewing before finalisation
  • Monitor and analyse accounting data for annual financial reports or statements.
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
  • Provide recommendations to improve systems and financial performance.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations in line with FRS102(a) and FRS105 standards.

Hybrid role in the city of London|Technical accounting review position

A successful Accounts Assistant Manager should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
  • Professional qualification such as AAT, ACCA, ACA or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) XERO, and accounting software.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
