An Accounts & Audit Senior position at a friendly, flexible independent firm of chartered accountants in Epsom.
This role is circa 15% audit and the ideal candidate will be comfortable preparing full sets of accounts, reviewing work and being able to support more junior members of staff, whilst being able to lead a small portfolio of audit clients.
- Circa 15% audit
- Support a varied portfolio of clients including partnerships, sole traders and limited companies
- If joining as a more senior candidate, there is the opportunity to be given your own portfolio
- Year end accounts preparation
- Reviewing and assisting with bookkeeping and management accounts
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Preparation and submission of corporate tax computations
- Lead a small portfolio of audit clients and assisting more junior members of staff, when required
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients
- Collaborate with team members to achieve objectives
Audit & accounts senior role with a flexible firm in Epsom|Varied position with circa 15% audit
- Prior experience working in accounts and audit, gained within a firm of chartered accountants
- ACA, ACCA qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience
- Comfortable leading smaller audits
- Able to prepare full sets of year end accounts
- Varied skill-set and previous exposure to management accounts, bookkeeping, VAT and corporation tax would be beneficial, but is not essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work within a team and fit into the firm’s cultural ethos
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships
