DescriptionOur Richmond based client is seeking a permanent full time Accounts Payable Accountant to join the team.Benefits:

• Competitive Salary ranging from $55,000 to $65,000

Reporting to the team lead, you will be responsible for:

• Timely and accurate processing of transactions and maintaining documentation
• Liaising with vendors and staff to collect invoices
• Ensuring proper verification and approval of invoices
• Coding and entering invoices to the accounting system
• Completing vendor payments and employee expense reimbursements in a timely manner
• Credit card and bank reconciliations

Other duties include:

• Filing, scanning, copying and other tasks as assigned
• Preparing monthly job costing for the trips
• Ad-hoc tasks

Successful Candidate:

• 3-5+ years of accounting experience with a focus in Accounts Payable
• Accounting diploma or certificate at post-secondary level
• Strong technical knowledge and high attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Expected salary

$55000 – 65000 per year
