Collaborative connections.The opportunityThe primarily responsibility of the Accounts Payable Administrator is to process accounts payable invoices, expense claims, and payments on a timely and accurate basis, in accordance with company policies and procedures and in compliance with tax and other regulatory requirements. The successful candidate should have experience with Coupa or SAP Concur or similar systems for Purchase to Pay and expense claim software.What you’ll be doingProcess accounts payable and expense claimsProcesses payments through various method, including electronic fund transfer (EFT), wires, cheques, online payments, and US draftsProcesses employee expense claims and corporate credit card expense reports using SAP Concur Expense, including monitoring compliance with internal policies, standards and directivesCreates, maintains and updates accurate vendor information for all suppliers, employees and other payees processed by Accounts Payable team, including verifying new or revised banking informationEnsures payments are approved by an authorized employee, in line with the approval authority directiveRespond to enquiriesFocuses on providing high quality customer service at all timesCommunicates with suppliers, employees and customers regarding accounts payable enquiriesProvides timely response to enquiriesAssists with various external and internal auditors, including providing supporting documentation as requiredMaintain effective relationships and teamworkInspires trust by being open, honest and direct in communication, meeting commitments and behaving ethically in all dealingsTreats all stakeholders with professionalism, dignity and respect and supports an environment where people can contribute and excelDemonstrates strong interpersonal skills that contribute to working effectively in a diverse working environmentCommunicates ideas and information effectively and regularly, providing status updates and other information affecting customers and fellow employees. Accepts responsibility and accountability for actions and resultsMakes decisions guided by common sense and sound business judgementEngages in activities supporting corporate cultureWho we’re looking for & what you’ve doneHigh school diploma supplemented by additional diploma or certification in accounting or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experienceMinimum 1 to 3 years of accounts payable work experienceStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbove average customer service skillsStrong verbal and written communication; communicates clearly and conciselyAble to manage high volumes and manage priorities in a fast-paced environmentComfortable working under pressure and meeting strict deadlinesStrong organizational and time management skillsIntermediate to advanced keyboarding and computer skillsProficient in MS Excel and familiar with MS WordExperience with SAP Concur and Coupa or similar Procure to Pay and expense claim softwareAble to maintain a high level of confidentialityTake your career further with CWB.
