Job Title: Accounts Payable CoordinatorLocation: Downtown Company near Union Station, Toronto
Job Type: Full-Time, Hybrid (1-2 days a week)
Salary: $60,000 – $65,000
Responsibilities:
– Process, code, and ensure timely and accurate payment of all supplier invoices
– Adhere to relevant reporting requirements (GST/HST)
– Process and pay all Employee and Partner expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies
– Assist in essential tasks during month-end and year-end preparation for Audit
– Process International payments
– Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries
– Post bank account transactions and reconcile remittances
– Assist management with ad hoc audit requests, reports, and special projects
– Manage the AP mailbox as the main point of contact
– Maintain an organized electronic filing system for financial documents, including invoices, receipts, and statements
– Identify and implement strategies for operational efficiency and process improvement
Skills and Qualifications:
– Diploma or post-secondary education, or equivalent experience
– 3-5 years of full cycle Accounts Payable experience
– Proficient in processing and paying accounts payable invoices, including international payments
– Intermediate – Advance level Excel skills (e.g., Pivot tables, Vlookup, and charts)
– Ability to reconcile large amounts of data
– Strong aptitude for accounting ERP systems
– Exemplary attention to detail
