We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Mississauga, Ontario, ideally with experience in the logistics or supply chain industry. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be instrumental in processing invoices, managing supplier lists, and assisting with compliance. You will not be required to perform bank reconciliations. This role is located in a detail-oriented office environment within the logistics industry.Responsibilities:
- Accurately processing high volume of daily invoices daily
- Assisting with compliance procedures, with training provided
- Progressively managing a list of suppliers
- Executing check runs in a timely manner
- Utilizing Tailwind CSS and Microsoft Excel for various tasks
- Ensuring accurate data entry across all tasks
- Maintaining clear and precise accounts payable records
- Utilizing your understanding of the accounts payable process to ensure smooth operations
- Leveraging your strong communication skills to interact with team members and resolve inquiries.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role or a related field, preferably in the logistics industry.
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded.
- Solid understanding and experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures.
- Experience with Check Runs, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices.
- Ability to code invoices, allocating expenses to the correct accounts.
- Strong data entry skills, with a focus on accuracy and speed.
- Experience in Invoice Processing, including verifying and posting transactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas and pivot tables.
