We are in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team based in Toronto, Ontario. In this role, you will be tasked with managing accounts payable, analyzing accounts, and supporting the end of month duties. This role provides a short term contract employment opportunity in the industry.Responsibilities:

• Efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications.
• Upholding accurate records of customer credit.
• Managing and processing invoices, check requisitions, and bank transfers.
• Conducting analysis, verification, and coding of invoices.
• Ensuring adherence to company policy while auditing expense reports.
• Reviewing the general ledger, accounts payable ledger, and vendor aging report.
• Reconciling and processing corporate credit card expenses.
• Making necessary adjustments and entries in the General Ledger.
• Answering and managing all internal and external correspondences and inquiries in your area of responsibility.
• Implementing improvements in processes and internal controls in all areas of financial responsibility.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar is required.
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary.
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures is a must.
• Demonstrated ability in executing Check Runs is required.
• Expertise in Coding Invoices is necessary for this role.
• Strong Data Entry skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Invoice Processing is required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel is necessary.
• Experience with QuickBooks is a strong plus.
• Understanding of General Ledger is necessary.
• Experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations is a requirement.
