This is a contract full time position with an estimated contract duration of 3-6 months.Key Responsibilities:

• Disbursing accounts payable to individuals, suppliers, corporations, and other stakeholders
• Complete generation accounting duties such as filing, maintaining and updating financial spreadsheets.
• Ensure the timely and accurate processing of payment documents and data.
• Perform data entry to enter and store AP data accurately.
• Check for billing discrepancies and resolve identified issues.
• Balance daily AP batches
• Ensure strict compliance with all confidentiality and privacy policies.
• Perform basic accounting and bank reconciliations.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of accounting or finance experience working in a similar capacity.
• Proficiency in MS Suite, Syntax or Quickbooks (Syntax preferred).
• Degree, diploma, or certificate in accounting/finance
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to reliably commute to North Vancouver.
