Location: Maple- ONSITECompany Overview: Our client, a reputable Canadian construction company operating since 1973, is looking for a Accounts Receivable/Payments Specialist. Reporting to the Controller, this position is unlike many AR roles in that it is not collections focused, but focused on inter-company billings and payments to process. You will collaborate closely with operations colleagues to enhance customer and vendor experiences.Accounts Receivable Duties:

• Manage customer profiles and payments.
• Ensure accurate and timely billing and revenue capture.
• Monitor receivables, provide updates, and support closing processes.
• Assist with transaction coding and address inquiries.
• File documentation and support month-end processes.

Payments Duties:

• Process employee expenses, vendor applications, and payment plans.
• Prepare payment reports and reconcile bank files.
• Record electronic and credit card payments.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable/cash management, preferably in construction.
• Business/Accounting degree or diploma.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
