We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in London, Ontario, Canada. This role is instrumental in our finance department, where you’ll be tasked with handling various billing functions, utilizing tools such as Oracle and Microsoft Excel, and ensuring efficient account reconciliation.Responsibilities:
- Generate invoices for our clients and ensure their accurate tracking in the system.
- Handle bank deposits and internal transfers of funds with precision.
- Monitor and follow up with internal and external clients regarding outstanding invoices.
- Ensure the maintenance of our email inbox, including printing off invoices and tracking them in our system.
- Conduct account reconciliations regularly to maintain accurate records.
- Utilize Oracle for various tasks, along with demonstrating intermediate Excel skills.
- Leverage your knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Oversee high-volume invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare bank deposits as part of your daily duties.
- Manage customer inquiries and resolve them in a timely and professional manner.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role
- Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing Functions is required
- Must have experience with Oracle and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to handle Account Reconciliation is essential
- Prior experience in preparing bank deposits is needed
- Must have experience handling high-volume invoicing
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are required
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are expected
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team is necessary
- Must possess strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is desirable.
