Axcis Education are working in close partnership with a wonderful MAT in Bradford, that supports children and young learners in Central and North Bradford as well as Keighley. In order to support the Trust and its pupils, Axcis Education are recruiting for 3 supportive, nurturing and engaging Teaching Assistants to work closely with pupils with additional needs across the primary age range. These are full-time roles and require a five day commitment from 08:30 – 16:00 each day of the school term. In addition, we are hoping to recruit staff for flexible and ad-hoc short notice supply work, covering last minute sickness across the breadth of the Trust. All schools in the trust are mainstream schools but the Trust are wanting to invest heavily in additional support for pupils that need structure and intervention to access the curriculum in Early Years and Key Stage 1 mainly. If you have always wanted to work in Education, to Support Young People in learning and have a positive influence on the children in your community then we would love to hear from you. You do NOT need to have classroom experience, however it is essential that you have related experience working with young people such as time spent working in Care, Music, Drama Workshops or Sports Coaching. We understand that there are hundreds of incredible people who have exceptional ‘Lived Experience’ and spend hours and hours supporting vulnerable young people but don’t have specific school classroom experience. We want to help!
