What you will be doing…

Our Administration and Reception Administrator will be responsible for providing a friendly, efficient, accurate and timely administrative support service to all internal colleagues and visitors. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave.

Week 1 – Monday to Friday at Holiday House

What you’ll be doing:

  • New starter process – creating and issuing new starter packs, access passes and updating databases.
  • Ensuring contact information for all colleagues is accurate and updated.
  • Issuing access to lockers and key fobs, maintaining secure records at all times.
  • Ordering business cards and other items as requested.

In addition, you’ll support the Reception and Administration Team, becoming multi-skilled in every aspect of the role. This can include:

  • Ongoing day-to-day support of other department functions.
  • Answering incoming calls and directing them to the correct colleague as quickly as possible.
  • Managing the email inbox ensuring that all requests are dealt with in a professional and timely manner.
  • Sorting, distributing, and franking all mail, plus advising recipients that they are required to collect their parcels from the Administration office.
  • Arranging car parking for visitors to Holiday House, having monitored the number of available spaces.

What you’ll have:

  • You’ll be an experienced administrator with excellent customer service skills and an organised, structured approach to work.
  • You’ll be IT literate, with the ability to use databases and learn new systems quickly.
  • You’ll be friendly, approachable, and confident liaising with people at all levels on a daily basis.
