Job description
Our client operates a former 18th century cotton spinning mill village located on the banks of the Falls of Clyde. It is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and they welcome over 300,000 visitors annually to their site which preserves and celebrates social and economic values that remain of global contemporary relevance. They are an independent charity whose goal is to pursue a sustainable management strategy to safeguard its future.
They are looking for an Administration Apprentice to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- You will be on hand to meet and greet all visitors into the building
- Answering the phones, taking messages, transferring calls
- Additional duties which include archiving documents, copying and scanning
- Collection of post at set times during the day
- Assist with the filing and archiving of documentation
- Always being compatible and understanding of compliance with company policy and procedures
Required skills:
- Good level of communication
- Computer literate, able to use Microsoft office and email competently
- Ability to follow instructions
- Attention to detail
- Flexibility and willingness to perform wide range of administrative tasks
- Ability to prioritise and organise workload
Salary:
£10,296 – £14,606 per annum (depending on age)
Working week:
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm with 30 minutes break
