Employer: Medway CouncilSalary: Range 3 – £24,525 – £29,268 per annum / pro rataLocation: Hybrid – Works part in the office (Gun Wharf) and part from homeContract: PermanentWorking Pattern: Full TimeHours: 37 hours per week.DBS Check: NoClosing Date: 26/09/2024 at 23:59Reference: REC3320VRAdministration and Executive Support Officer – Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC) MedwayIf you have experience providing administrative and executive support and are looking for an exciting new opportunity to work in a team aiming to improve health and wellbeing and tackle health inequalities in Medway, then this is the job for you.An exciting opportunity has arisen for an officer to provide administrative and executive support to the Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC) Medway, a collaboration between Medway Council and the University of Kent which aims embed quality research practice in Medway Council for strategic and operational decision-making to benefit local communities’ health and wellbeing. (see for more information).In this role you will provide executive support to the leadership of the HDRC and administrative support for the wider team. This includes a wide range of activities and responsibilities, ranging from diary and budget management, meeting organisation and stakeholder management; to document drafting, guidance reporting and information gathering. Your role will contribute to an ambitious and important project and is an opportunity to work at the heart of the council, engage internal and external stakeholders and develop your skills and experience.As the successful candidate, you will have relevant experience and be proficient in the skills required for the role (technical and personal). You will also be able to evidence advanced organisational skills and be able to build strong relationships at all levels within and outside of the organisation.
